Designing with Purpose: Launching The Doubtfire Project’s Website

One of the most meaningful parts of working in web design is getting to collaborate with organizations that are doing real, impactful work. Recently, we had the opportunity to build a website for The Doubtfire Project, a new organization focused on supporting men who have experienced abuse by women. A topic that’s often overlooked but deeply important.

From our very first meeting, it was clear this team was passionate and dedicated. We worked closely with The Doubtfire Project’s founders to understand their mission, goals, and audience. They came to us with a clear vision: a welcoming, informative, and safe online space where men could find resources, support, and community.

A Site Built with Heart

We kept the design clean and approachable, letting their message take the lead. The site offers quick access to support services, articles, and community updates. It makes it easy for users to find what they need without getting overwhelmed. We also developed a contact form that allows individuals to reach out confidentially, whether they’re seeking help or simply have questions.

To help streamline their operations and stay connected with their community, we integrated their existing Zeffy account into the website. This integration supports both donations and newsletter signups, making it easy for visitors to support the organization or stay informed without ever leaving the site.

Sharing Stories and Thought Leadership

Another important piece of the site is the Books page, which highlights titles authored by one of the organization’s co-founders. These books offer insight into his personal journey and broader discussions around abuse, masculinity, and healing. Each listing links directly to where the books can be purchased, offering another way for visitors to connect with the mission and message of the organization.

Collaboration That Matters

This project was a true collaboration. The Doubtfire Project team came prepared with passion, stories, and a sense of purpose. We just helped bring their ideas to life. Together, we created a site that doesn’t just look good, but genuinely supports a community that’s been underserved for too long.

If you haven’t yet, take a look at their work over at doubtfireproject.org. We’re proud to have played a role in building a platform that helps spark conversation, provide support, and inspire change. Looking to build a site of your own? Let’s talk!
