Jay Kapp Named Dunwoody Citizen of the Year
The Dunwoody Homeowners Association (DHA) held their Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Kingsley Racquet and Swim Club. Jay Kapp, president of Kapp Koncepts, was honored as “Dunwoody Citizen of the Year” for 2013 for his work in the community.
Jay, a resident of Dunwoody, has worked with various community organizations for more than a decade – including Dunwoody Homeowners Association, Dunwoody Preservation Trust, Dunwoody Soap Box Derby, Murphey Candler Baseball, Chamblee Business Association, Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce, United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia, and Dunwoody Nature Center.
“It is a great honor to receive this award. I could not devote the time that I do without the help of my family and the great group of people we have working at Kapp Koncepts,” Kapp said.
The DHA also honored the Rotary Club of Dunwoody with the “Dave Adams Award” on behalf of the Dunwoody Nature Center, as well as Bill Grossman, long time community volunteer and former DHA president, and Adrian Bonser, past Dunwoody City Council member, with “Community Service Awards.”
