A Busy Summer Comes to a Close
While families where enjoying time off during the summer break from school, the Kapp Koncepts team was busy working on three Atlanta area private school websites.
The website for Roswell Catholic high school, Blessed Trinity, was designed and developed by Kapp Koncepts in 2005. The website has seen enhancements each summer since the initial launch and this year was no exception. The BT website received some additional administrative functions on the back-end of the website, a database clean-up, Google Translate added to the web pages, social media links, and some other tweaks.
Atlanta Catholic high school, St. Pius X, made the decision to update their 7-year old website in 2010. Kapp Koncepts was chosen as the web designer in spring 2010. The redesign started in May and the new website was launched 2 weeks before students returned to school in August. The website includes a new design, a complete student/parent intranet (homework and test schedules, discussion boards, library resource links, and school announcements), secure online giving, content management access for faculty/staff members, a robust calendar system, RSS feeds, and a facility reservation system. Working on the SPX website was especially rewarding because Kapp Koncepts president, Jay Kapp is a St. Pius X alumnus.
We also designed and developed a new website for Fayetteville Catholic high school, Our Lady of Mercy. The Mercy website was nearly ten years old and needed to be refreshed for the growing school. The new website has a new design, calendar system, content management tools for teachers and coaches, email newsletter management and distribution tool, and photo galleries.
